Borsch with chicken

Ingredients:

  • Bulb onions - 1/2 Pieces
  • Garlic - 4 Cloves
  • Celery (stems) - 2 Pieces
  • Cabbage - 1/2 Piece
  • Potatoes - 2 Pieces
  • Carrots - 1-2 Pieces
  • Beets - 3-4 Pieces
  • Chicken fillet - 2 Pieces
  • Vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Ground black pepper - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - To taste
  • Dill - 1 Bunch
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp spoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 Tbsp. a spoon

How to cook "Borsch with chicken"

First, prepare all the necessary products. Peel onion, garlic, carrots, potatoes. Rinse the chicken breast.

Cut the onion and celery into half rings, chop the garlic finely. Cabbage chop, carrots grate on a large grater.

Cut potatoes into thin strips. Similarly, we cut beets. If desired, the beets can be grated.

We put the pan on the fire and pour into it a tablespoon of vegetable oil. When the oil warms up, pour the onion into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Next, add garlic and celery to onions, mix well and stew somewhere 2 minutes.

Spread the same cabbage, potatoes and carrots, carefully mix everything, adding salt and pepper. Fill the vegetables with chicken broth, cover with a lid and cook 35-40 minutes over low heat.

Meanwhile, salt, pepper chicken breasts and fry them in vegetable oil. Then add a little water and simmer until done. Once the chicken is cooked, cut it into small pieces and add it to the borsch.

When the vegetables are cooked, add lemon juice to borsch, a little apple cider vinegar and chopped dill. Mix everything, if necessary, add salt.
