Chickpea Candy

I propose to cook chickpeas with nuts and cinnamon. Candies are moderately sweet, tasty and very healthy! Ideal for those who are fasting or sits on a light diet.

Description of preparation:

The minimum set of ingredients, and it turns out very tasty and, importantly, useful sweetness. Feeling that you eat peas, of course not, your loved ones will not guess from what these delicious sweets. Roll candy can not only cocoa, suitable and coconut chips, and cinnamon, and milk powder. Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas - 90 grams (dry)
  • Walnuts - 30 Grams
  • Honey - 1,5 Art. spoons
  • Cinnamon - 0,5 Teaspoons
  • Cocoa - 2 Art. spoons
  • Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp. the spoon

Servings: 17-20

How to Make Chickpea Candy

Prepare all the ingredients.

Rinse dry chickpeas, cover with water and leave for 12 hours. You can even leave for the night.

Then drain the water, chickpeas, rinse again and put into the pan.

Fill the chickpeas with water and cook for about 1-1,5 hours until ready.

Ready chickpeas fold in a strainer and let drain water.

Grind chickpeas in a meat grinder or using a blender. Grind walnuts in the same way and add to chickpeas.

Add honey and cinnamon.

Mix everything well until smooth.

Roll balls of about a bit smaller than a walnut from this mass. It should make about 17-20 pieces. Combine cocoa and icing sugar and roll all the sweets in this mixture.

Chickpea candies are ready.

In the candy, you can add any dried fruit or flavors to your taste.
