Braised Cabbage with Chicken and Mushrooms

There is nothing easier than stewing cabbage with chicken and mushrooms. In 30-35 minutes, the dish will be ready and you can quickly feed your family a tasty and satisfying dinner. At the same time, it contains very few calories, so a piece of fresh bread, toast or croutons will come in handy here. You can take any mushrooms. With wild mushrooms, cabbage will be even more aromatic and tastier. Only they should be boiled well first.


  • Chicken Fillet - 300 Gram
  • Onion - 1 Piece
  • Carrot - 1 Pieces
  • White cabbage - 250 Gram

  • Sunflower oil - 30 Milliliters

How to cook "Braised Cabbage with Chicken and Mushrooms"

Prepare the ingredients for cooking stewed cabbage with chicken and mushrooms.

Peel onions, wash and cut into half rings. Put in a pan.

Peel, wash and chop the carrots. You can grate.

Chop the cabbage into thin strips and add to the onions and carrots. Pour in sunflower oil and some water.

Cover the pan and simmer vegetables for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the chopped mushrooms.

Chicken fillet cut into small pieces and add to the pan with vegetables and mushrooms. Salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the pan again and simmer for another 10-12 minutes.

Braised cabbage with chicken and mushrooms is ready. Serve the second for lunch or dinner.
