How to cook "Fish Soup with Celery"

Prepare the indicated ingredients.

Clean the fish from scales, gut and rinse thoroughly. Remove the gills. Cut the fish into slices and put in a pot or cauldron. Add washed rice immediately; it boils for about the same amount of time as the fish. Lay out bay leaves.

Pour in warm water, place the pan on the stove and bring its contents to a boil, while removing the resulting foam. Then salt and pepper the dish.

Peel the carrots and onions, rinse in water and grate the carrots on a grater with small cells, and cut the onions into a small cube.

After 15 minutes of cooking, put the chopped vegetables in a pan.

Add celery at the same moment. You can use both fresh stem celery and frozen.

Boil the soup for another 5-6 minutes and taste it. Add ground garlic or fresh herbs to the broth if desired.

Put the boiled fish in the plates, pour the broth with rice and vegetables and serve.
