Bars of oatmeal and dried fruits

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 g oat flakes medium-fast cooking
  • 200 g dates (pitted)
  • 50 d armor
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 100 g of dried peaches

  • 50 ml apple juice

STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION FOR PREPARATION

Step 1

Pour the dates with 100 ml of warm water and leave for 30 minutes. Put the dates and liquid in a blender, add honey and grind into a paste. Transfer to a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add apple juice and cinnamon, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Cool slightly.

Step 2

Pour raisins with cranberries with warm water and leave for 10 minutes. Drain the water, dry the raisins.

Step 3

Spread the oatmeal evenly on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 ° C until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a plate and cool.

Step 4

Finely chop nuts, peaches and dried apricots, mix with flakes, add raisins, cranberries and date paste.

Step 5

Place the mixture on a baking sheet covered with oiled parchment paper, flatten and cover with parchment. Bake at 150 ° C until golden brown, 30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, 10 minutes, and cut into 24 rectangles. Let them cool completely, store in parchment.
